9A: Testing the Hypothesis

Mobile Pharmacy was my opportunity belief. Who:   Although numerous individuals might need the service of transporting their medicine from pharmacies to their doorstep with only a touch on their smartphones, some people may find it inconvenient and unnecessary. These individuals could include young, energized, and with a leisure life. Other people perhaps might find it worthless to pay a little extra for their medicine or prescriptions to be delivered. As a result, I conducted five interviews with individuals that do not have the need of a mobile pharmacy. ·          Interview 1: I decided to go to CVS to do a couple of interviews and buy some milk. I was able to speak to an older lady that was shopping around. I told her about my opportunity belief and what she thought about it. She paused for a minute to think about it and told me that although she might use it, she wouldn’t trust people to handle her medicine and pre...

Hypothesis: ·         Testing the who: I believe a significant part of the people who share this need is listed already; however, the share of this need could expand beyond limits to everyone who would just have the necessity for their medicine or prescription to be delivered right at their doorstep. ·         Testing the what: there are definitely boundaries of the need. For instance, some individuals might not find inconv...

4A: Forming an opportunity belief

1) I believe that an opportunity exists in creating an online app where prescription medicine is delivered and where pharmacists come to your residence in a period of one hours or less. 2)  A "mobile-pharmacy" could potentially be beneficial in providing convenience to all individuals that need a prescription or might need a pharmacist assistance and do not feel or are incapable of driving to a pharmacy. This belief's objective is to target any person that might need medicine but are incapable or indisposed to go to a pharmacy. to be precise, this opportunity is to target baby boomers since they are aging in significant amounts. I believe this need has always existed since whenever I'm ill, the last thing I want to do is leave my house and I'm sure many feel the same way. There's a company called "GetMyRx" which delivers prescriptions but does not provide pharmacist assistance to your house. At the moment, I believe that 75% of this opportunity exi...

Image
The way I've been exposed to entrepreneurship is through my father's various businesses he has had over the years. Throughout the years, my dad has owned different business such as a bakery, small apartments, and some taxi cars. Although my dad is a mechanical engineer, he has always had the mentality of how to provide a service or a product efficiently and effectively. he has worked relentlessly to compete against the competition which is why he has made a profit from such businesses. As a result, I've learned substantially from him and his experiences on how to become an entrepreneur. He has taught me that to be an entrepreneur requires tremendous effort and time. There were times where my dad was working over 70 hours per week. In addition, he has taught me that to be an entrepreneur demands passion in what you do and the business you own. There's still a lot more to learn, but my dad has provided me with significant knowledge about entrepreneurship. I enro...

2A: BUG LIST

Bug List During summer time in Gainesville, it rains almost every day because of the subtropical climate Gainesville has and possibly global warming During rush hours in Gainesville, SW 20th Avenue in Gainesville gets congested because people are getting off work and it's a two-lane road. Sometimes, my dad does not answer my calls during the day because he's either working or have his phone on vibrate  Southwest Recreational Center is always so packed between 5-8 pm because most of the students have finished classes by that time and most students are motivated at the start of the semester to reach their fitness goals Rude costumers at Publix which is where I work. This happens because either they are having a rough day or because they have no politeness. When I set up a nice bowl of cereal but there is no milk in the fridge. This occurs because either I forgot to buy one or there was not any at the supermarket. When I buy clothes online and they are the wrong siz...
