30A: Final Reflection

1)Overall, the experience in this class has been extraordinary. From all the lows and highs, I have learned tremendously to understand the process and dedication it takes to be an entrepreneur.
2)I believe the most formative experiences in the class were the reading reflections. I believe the books I’ve read had a profound influence in my thoughts and life overall. The biography of Elon Musk, How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big, and Thinking Fast and Slow were books that enable me to have a different perspective in the devotion of entrepreneurs in their ideas. In addition, they helped me understand how the human’s mind operates and that failure is inevitable. Furthermore, I believe my most joyful experience was the assignments where I have to evaluate myself directly or indirectly such as “the secret sauce” or my “venture’s unfair advantage” assignments. It allowed me to analyze my strengths and weaknesses and what makes me differentiate from the rest. Finally, I think the experience the I’m proudest in accomplishing was going out there and interviewing people. To be honest, I’m not super outgoing and trying to interview different individuals made me get out of my comfort zone.
3) I believe that I see myself closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset by taking this class. I realize the value of an unfulfilled opportunity. I believe I make different analysis on the observations I make with businesses and people.

4) my recommendation for upcoming students is to manage your time wisely with this class. Assignments can get lengthy and setting time apart for such will definitely help you in this class. In addition, I would recommend to always make sure you have the right URL, submit it, and declare it since day one. Misunderstanding or if you forget to follow the process will cost you greatly. Finally, I would recommend students to have an idea that you are passionate about since it will make this class and process a lot easier.
